qualifiying cook is rewarded with the beauty that is Terlingua, Texas

This is where the World Championship in Terlingua Texas is held.  Its held the first weekend in November each year.  You need to get there on Wednesday before the main event to soak up all the fun with all the chili cooks and all the cooks parties.  Over 300 entries and over 10K spectators.  This is why we travel through the year, earning our points, so we can qualify to be a part of it.
